The Startup State of the Nation Address (Startup SONA) event will be South Africa’s first platform for collaboration between Government, Private Enterprise and Startup community. This event seeks to understand the participation of each stakeholder within the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).
An event first of its kind to bring forth true collaboration amongst the silos of Government, Private Enterprise and SME economy. We unpack as a nation what it means to actively participate and compete in the fourth industrial revolution.
Startup SONA will address the existing and upcoming agendas and challenges in the startup ecosystem, with the aim of a unified perspective and collaboration among all stakeholders.
The Startup State of the Nation Address, unpacks and voices existing and upcoming agenda’s and challenges with intention for the event to result in singular perspective and meaningful participation of all stakeholders involved goals internally, continentally and globally as a country.

The Inaugural ‘Startup State of the Nation Address’ will be hosted at Impact Hub in Rosebank, Johannesburg on the 21-22 November. The Summit will be led and facilitated by the black-owned organization Legazy Group.
